About Our Practice
A Life of Balance
Yoga builds self awareness by using conscious movement. Meditation quiets the chatter of the mind allowing one to focus inward building a foundation of balance for the mind, body and spirit.

Who We Are

Owner / Certified Yoga Teacher
I found yoga after being diagnosed with scoliosis as a teen. I was able to avoid having to have my spine fused with rods and screws by doing yoga and keeping my curve from getting worse. I have regained flexibility in my spine and hips and greatly reduced the pain associated with the curvature in my spine. My spine will never be normal and I will always have some level of aches and pains from inflamation, but i know how to make myself better now and that is through yoga.
On a more mental and spiritual note I believe that God brought me to yoga at a time in my adult life when I was going through a very difficult period. The in-word focus of the yoga practice helped me to move forward in life with a new confidence and inner strength that I was in need of .
The more I teach the more I realize that everyone has some area they are in need of improving. For some it is physical. For others it is mental or spiritual or all three.
I am also an RN in my real Job and I find that teaching yoga is just an extension of
my desire to help people feel better in their own bodies.
